Father God,

On the sunny days I feel your warmth. It’s as if the rays of light are your arms reaching down to comfort me.
But on the dark and cloudy days it feels as if a wall has been put between us.
I need your warmth and comfort. I know you have not left me, but I feel disconnected.
Father help me find you even in the cloudy days of life. Call out my name so I can run to your voice.

Amen

Father God,
Thank you for every new day and every new breath. It’s so easy to take each of these for granted. Remind me to stop rushing and live in this minute, this moment –  because it is really all that we have.

In Jesus Christ,
Amen

A question that i’m sure everyone has heard (Or maybe even asked) is “Why do bad things happen to good people?”
We assume ourselves to be naturally good and deserving of good things – so when disaster strikes, when problems arise, when we get sick or someone we love dies, we cry out “What did I do to deserve this?” (more…)

John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

Jesus Christ did not come into existence at the virgin birth by Mary. He already existed from the foundations of the universe with God and in God – because he IS God.  (more…)
