Father God,
We are heading into the crucifixion weekend and I want to focus on you and you alone. Let me push all ideas about easter, bunnies, eggs, candy and all that other garbage out of my mind and focus on you and what you did to rescue us.
It’s incomprehensible, the pain and agony you endured – it should have been my pain and agony. I am the one who should have been beaten, tortured and murdered. I am the one who should have suffered hell – but you took it for me. Then you rose again to show the father was satisfied with the sacrifice! God that is what I want to remember this weekend, nothing else.

For the last few days I’ve felt a heavy burden for the lost souls that die without Jesus Christ. For this reason I’ve felt it was necessary to revisit a former post titled Reality of Hell¬†and expand on it. In my first post I briefly mentioned the book “Love Wins” by Rob Bell and wrote about my utter rejection of it’s teachings. I reject all of Universalism – It is just unable to stand up under true Biblical scrutiny. This post however is not intended to debate Universalism but is written to inform my readers that their is an actual, literal hell. (more…)
