11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS. (more…)

I found this photo floating around on the internet and I grabbed it. I’d like to commend the author, whoever that may be, they truly captured a beautiful picture. Images such as this really bring a special kind of joy to my heart and remind me of the day my son was born. I even have a similar picture of my son smiling in his sleep. I would like to think that he too was dreaming of Jesus. (more…)

Ominous clouds are rolling in and the sky is growing dark. The poisonous fog of sin and evil is filling up the earth, searching to choke out the light. The air is electrically charged causing the hair on our necks to stand up as the entire earth anticipates something “big” about to happen. (more…)

I received a good amount of criticism for my previous post COEXIST? – A Destructive Delusion
Based on the comments that were made and the questions that were asked of me I have realized that the people who support COEXIST have a deeply flawed idea of truth and love.
A common question I received was: “What makes your beliefs right and everyone else’s wrong? Other people believe in their god just as much as you believe in yours.”
This question implies that belief determines truth. For example if I believe in the God of the Bible then that’s the truth for me and if someone else believes in the god of Islam, then that’s the truth for them – and we are both equally entitled to our “truths”.
That is however the very ideology that I was rejecting in my first post. (more…)

BE THE CHURCH!!
The church today is in the midst of an identity crisis – particularly in the American church.
We have an unhealthy disassociation with what (actually who) the church really is. We’ve mentally separated ourselves from being the church and placed the idea of the church onto a building of wood and brick.
This may come as a shock to some, but these fancy buildings that we see on the sides of the road with their denominational tags and pretty steeples, these are not churches – the true church has no denomination. The people inside attending service, singing, praying, acting – they aren’t the church either (although some of them might be.) (more…)
