The eye of the LORD is set on the earth for judgement, and who is able to stand?

Over the last several weeks I have been deeply studying the Revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, and preparing a message concerning His coming wrath during the tribulation. I had been prayerfully studying and preparing but I felt that it was not yet time for me to write the message. Then today I was given a vision from the Lord, and I know it is now time.

While praying earlier this evening I asked God to show me His will and I asked Him to lead me like a shepherd leads His sheep. Suddenly I saw Christ on the cross, crucified. The cross became engulfed in flames and the smoke ascended into the sky and revealed the fiery dove of the Holy Spirit. This disappeared and then I saw the face of a mighty lion whose mane was burning with flames of fire. As the face of the lion disappeared I saw an eye, and when the eye opened the pupil was the earth. The earth then burst into flames.
Then I heard the Holy Spirit whisper – I was, I AM, I AM to come.
That was the end of the vision I had.

As I reflected on the vision, I was given understanding that the vision had 4 parts.
The first part was Christ on the cross – “I Was” He was crucified and resurrected.
The second part was the Holy Spirit – “I AM” He is alive and is the Holy Spirit, sealed inside believers and with us always.
The third part was the mighty Lion – “I AM to come” He will return ferociously, in great power and glory.
The fourth part was the eye with the earth as the pupil which burst into flames. This is the all seeing eye of God, which is now set on the earth for judgement.
After weeping from the weight of His presence, I felt strengthened and encouraged that God has revealed Himself to me in such a mighty way. He made me firm in Him, and confirmed that the time is now. We are living in the last of the last days and His wrath will soon be poured out.
The message that I was preparing, and is now ready, is simply a compilation of the judgments that will occur during the tribulation. It’s a very heavy message and most people (Christians included) don’t realize how terrible of a time those 7 years will be.  Jesus said about that time –

Matthew 24:22
“In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones”

Very few people are going to survive what is coming. If that time period is not cut short by the return of Christ, no one would live – the earth and everything in it would be utterly wiped out.

In the right hand of God Almighty, is a scroll, which is the title deed to the earth. Jesus will soon take this scroll, because He is the only one worthy, and He will begin breaking the 7 seals on it. When He breaks the first seal, the tribulation begins.

First Seal: Releases the anti-christ and sends him out to conquer. (Revelation 6:2)
Second Seal: Releases the red horse and peace is taken from the earth so that people should kill each other. (Revelation 6:4)
Third Seal: Releases the black horse of hyper-inflation. Money will be nearly worthless (Revelation 6:6)
Fourth Seal: Releases the pale horse whose rider is death. 1/4 of the worlds population will die by sword, hunger and beasts of the earth (Revelation 6:8)
Fifth Seal: Releases worldwide persecution and martyrdom of believers. They will be slain for the Word of God and their testimony. (Revelation 6:9)
Sixth Seal: Releases a great earthquake so powerful that every island and mountain is moved out of it’s place. The sun is blackened and the moon turned to blood, while the “stars of heaven” fall to the earth (Meteorites?)  (Revelation 6:12-14)
Seventh Seal: Silence in heaven for half an hour while seven angels prepare for the seven trumpet judgments. (Revelation 8:1-2)

First Trumpet: Hail and fire mixed with blood is cast to the earth and burns up 1/3 of all trees and green grass. (Revelation 8:7)
Second Trumpet:  Something like a great burning mountain (Asteroid?) is cast into the sea, and 1/3 of the oceans are turned to blood, 1/3 of all living creatures in the sea die, 1/3 of all ships in the ocean are destroyed (Revelation 8:8-9)
Third Trumpet: A great star falls from heaven and lands on the rivers of the earth, making it bitter and causing many men to die. (Revelation 8:10-11)
Fourth Trumpet: A third of the sun, moon and stars are darkened so that they do not shine for a third part of the day or night. (Revelation 8:12)
Fifth Trumpet: Demonic locusts are released from the bottomless pit and they are given authority for 5 months to torment anyone who does not have the seal of God on their forehead. During that 5 month period, people will be unable to die. They will seek death but death will flee from them (I don’t understand this curse but it sounds terrifying.) (Revelation 9:1-6)
Sixth Trumpet: Releases four terrible angels who were bound at the river Euphrates. These angels gather an army of 200 Million to kill 1/3 of mankind with fire, smoke and brimstone (Nuclear?) (Revelation 9:13-18)
Seventh Trumpet: Announces the coming of Christ’s Kingdom, prepares us for the bowl judgments full of Gods wrath.

At this point we are at approximately the middle of the tribulation where the antichrist becomes possessed by Satan, sets up the abomination of desolation and requires everyone to receive a mark. Without the mark no one can buy or sell, and whoever refuses the mark is beheaded.

First Bowl: A foul and loathsome sore comes upon all who have the mark of the beast. (Revelation 16:2)
Second Bowl: All the oceans become the blood of a dead man and every living creature in the sea dies. (Revelation 16:3)
Third Bowl: All the rivers turn to blood. “For they have shed the blood of the saints and prophets, so You have given them blood to drink. It is their just due.” (Revelation 16:4-6)
Fourth Bowl: The sun is given power to scorch men with fire and great heat. (Revelation 16:8-9)
Fifth Bowl: Wrath is poured out on the throne of the beast and fills his kingdom with darkness and extreme pain so that people gnaw their tongues. (Revelation 16:10)
Sixth Bowl: The Euphrates river is dried up so that the kings of the east can march to Armageddon. (Revelation 16:12)
Seventh Bowl: A loud voice announces “It is finished!” A great and mighty earthquake occurs, causing all islands to sink and all mountains to crumble. 100 pound hail stones rain down upon the earth. (Revelation 16:17-21)

At this point Jesus Christ returns in the air, with power and great glory, followed by millions and millions of His saints – all on white horses.
Christ leads the way to the battle of Armageddon and destroys the armies of the antichrist by the power of His word.
He then commences the sheep and the goats judgement – sheep being allowed to enter Christ’s millennial kingdom and goats being cast into the lake of fire.

Calculating the enormity of the judgments for this time, it’s reasonable to conclude that very few people will still be alive by the end of these 7 years. Of the worlds 7 billion populace, I wouldn’t be surprised if only a few million survived to the end. If you’re unfortunate enough to go through this period of time, your chances of staying alive are slim. However Jesus tells us:

Luke 21:36
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

All true believers will be caught up into heaven at the Rapture before the tribulation begins. If you want to escape the wrath to come, repent and surrender to Christ. He is your only hope.
I pray that the weight of this message and the coming judgment will draw you to the feet of Christ in brokenness and surrender. I pray that His holy spirit stirs in the hearts of all who read this and leads you to salvation.

2 Peter 3:3-7
“…scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”  For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”

The world was destroyed once by a flood of water – it is reserved to be judged and destroyed a second time by fire, and the eye of the Lord is now set on the Earth for judgment.
